-Parents, did you receive this week's Chalkboard via your email? This is the first week that the school is trying to send those out electronically in an effort to reduce paper waste. If you did NOT get an email version of the Chalkboard, please send an email to Kathy Martinez at taoscharter@newmex.com and she'll get you on the list.

-Soup Bowl Fundraiser: Saturday from 11-1 at TCS. Soups from Joseph's Table, Shadows, Ranchos Trading Post, and Lambert's will be served in hand-painted bowls made by the students. Come join the fun!

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! Welcome Parents and Students!

You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out. It's my plan to use this space to post weekly spelling lists, math assignments, project information, announcements, and educational links.
