Have a great summer!

-It's been an excellent year. I've really enjoyed working with all the creative, diligent, kind-hearted, smart kids in this group. I'll miss seeing you all every day! Please email me a schedule of your plays and baseball/ softball games (mbonner@taoscharterschool.org), and I'll come see them if I can. Over the summer, keep your reading skills sharp and get ready for Mr. Jones' class by continuing the D.E.A.R. habit of reading for at least 20 minutes every day. Your accounts at Lexia, MobyMax, IXL Math, Spelling City, and Typing Web will all remain open and available for you to use any time during the summer break. So be sure to take advantage of your memberships at those sites when you have the time.

Please check your homes for any items that need to be returned to school: textbooks, classroom library books, etc. and bring those in. Also, please send in any used cardboard boxes if you have some at home that we could have for paper recycling, and remember to bring your own lunch as school lunch will not be served on Tuesday. -Wednesday is Field Day for grades K-4 at Kit Carson Park from about 10:30 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Students should dress for outside PE (t-shirt, shorts, sneakers, hat) and bring sunblock and a water bottle.
