-Math: 1. If you have access to a printer, print out these long division practice pages to do at home:

2. Spend 30 minutes each day practicing the starred division skills in IXL Math, Section E. 

-Spelling and Vocabulary: 
1. Complete the weekly written work. 
2. Spend 20 minutes practicing the list at Vocabulary A-Z. 
3. Take the Vocabulary Test Me activity. 

-Reading/ History: 1. Spend 40 minutes practicing skills on your level of Lexia Core 5. 

2. Read p. 218-222 in the History & Geography textbook. 

3. Watch these Youtube videos about the Boston Tea Party: 


On a sheet of lined paper, or in your Vocabulary Journal, answer the following questions in full sentence form:

What happened at the Boston Tea Party? 
What were the Intolerable Acts? How did the colonists respond to them?

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog! Welcome Parents and Students!

You've found it, Mr. Bonner's Blog! This is my very first foray into this realm of communication, so check back for more soon as I start to figure it all out.
