-History: Complete Steps 5, 7, and 8 on the green checklist - title page, pictures, bibliography. Rehearse reading your report out loud a few times at home so you'll be ready to present to the class.

-Secret Santa: Don't forget to bring in your gift to give away. Please don't write who it's for on the outside.

-Holiday Party: Kids are welcome to bring in a treat to share after our Secret Santa gift exchange (no candy or soda, please).

-Geo Bee!: Congratulations to Lara, Cory, Augustin, Teresa, Irvin, and Grace for winning our class Geography Bee today. It was a tough competition! Those 6 winners will move ahead to compete against students from grades 5-8 in our School-Level Geo-Bee which will be held January 8th.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
