-History: Finish up all the steps on your report so it's ready to hand in on Wednesday. Practice reading it out loud once or twice to someone in your family so you'll be ready to present it to the class. PLEASE remember to bring in all the library and classroom books you borrowed for this project.

-Secret Santa gift exchange will be at about 1:20. Please bring in the wrapped, un-named gift for the person whose name you drew. Parents are invited, and students are welcome to bring in a healthy snack to share during the gift-giving. We'll sing Christmas carols with some of the other classes in the Embler Gymnasium at 2:00.

-Geo Bee: Today we had the final rounds of our class-level Geography Bee. Congrats to our semi-finalists Josh, Miel, J. Ryan, Lachlan, Grayson, Kelden, and alternates Kaili and Nicky. On January 13, these students will compete against the semi-finalists from grades 5-8 for prizes and geographic glory in our School-Wide Geo-Bee!

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
