-Parents fyi: District schools will be closing early on Friday for Homecoming Day, and TCS will be on a regular full day schedule. So, the afternoon buses will be like a wacky Wednesday schedule, with no bus 24 and no transfers, and only buses 7 and 14 going to the Youth and Family Center.

-Math: SL 2-4 (p. 29)

-Upcoming Field Trip: Next Wednesday, September 21 the class will be taking an all-day hike on the Rio Santa Barbara Trail near Penasco. I'll send home all the info and permission slips with students later this week.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
