-Spelling: Study for the quiz.
-Reading: Read and write chapter summaries for any chapter of Everything on a Waffle that you may have missed. Summaries are due Friday.

-Field Trip! On Friday morning the class will be taking a trip to the Harwood Museum to tour the collection and participate in an art activity led by Anne Costanza and the museum staff. Parents are invited to come along and help chaperone. The bus will leave TCS at 9:30 and return to school at about 11:40. The bus fee is $3.

Welcome to the TCS 4th Grade Blog!

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
