-Career Project: Parents, the class is beginning a career education project which will require your assistance and involvement. Each student will be choosing a career that they are going to be studying. As part of the project, I’ve asked the students to arrange a visit and an interview with a local person who has the career that they choose. Please assist your son or daughter in contacting this person (perhaps you have a friend or a colleague who would work). The culminating activity of the project will be a posterboard presentation by each student teaching the class about the career that they have studied. The presentations will begin Thursday, May 13 (or sooner if students finish early). The students have more information about the specifics of the project. Tonight, students should be thinking about what careers they may be interested in studying. Write down two or three of them on your tan checklist.
