-On Tuesday, fourth grade non-skiers will be having an art activity in the morning, and then going over to the TYFC to go swimming in the afternoon from 1:30 to 2:20. They’ll need to bring a swimsuit, towel and $2 for admission to the pool. I'll be chaperoning the Ski and Snowboard Program tomorrow, and Coach Van Nevel will sub in class.


-In the event of a 2 hour delay, Ski Club is canceled for the day. It will be rescheduled and we'll have a regular school day, beginning at 10:15. In that case, skiers should bring swimsuits, towels, and $2, and we'll all try to go swimming at 1:30 if possible.

Hello to all the incoming 4th grade students and parents at Taos Charter! I hope you've all have had a fantastic summer break. I really enjoyed mine too, but I'm glad to be back working in the classroom and excited to kick off another school year with this new group of kids. School starts Monday, August 17th at 8:15 AM. Fourth grade supply lists are available in the office or at the TCS website in the "For Parents" section. It's not necessary for everyone to have all the supplies on the first day. Pencils, folders, and composition books are the most important items. Until then, get outside, have some fun, and make the most of your last days of break. I'll see you bright and early on Monday! Our TCS Welcome Back Pot-Luck is Friday, August 14th from 5:30 to 7:00pm if you can make it. Thanks for taking the time to find and read our 4th grade blog!
