Over the weekend:

-Math: Finish the front side of the "Long Division No Remainders" page. Teach someone the Long Division Algorithm dance moves!

For Thursday:

-Math: Finish both sides of the division fact practice sheet. Practice IXL skills E1, E2, E3. -Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz. This week's list is posted at Spelling City.

For Wednesday:

-Math: Study Links 6-1 (p. 121), and deliver the Unit 6 parent letter.

Spelling and Vocabulary List 1/26/15

For Friday:

-Math: We'll be having the Unit 5 Test on Friday. To prepare for the test, fix the items you missed in the Math Journal and Study Links in this unit. Also, complete any Unit 5 pages from both books that you may have missed or left unfinished.

For Tuesday and Wednesday

-Math: Study links 5-10 and 5-11. -Non skiers should bring a swimsuit, towel, and $2 for pool admission on Tuesday. -Ski Program participants should be at school at 7:45. Pick up is at 5:00.

For Friday:

-Math: Study Links 5-9 -Spelling: Study for the quiz. Take a practice quiz at home, or at Spelling City.

For Thursday:

-Math: Study Links 5-8 -Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz. -Creative Writing: Complete the final draft of the New Year Essay to print on Thursday (if you haven't already handed it in).

For Tuesday and Wednesday:

-Math: Complete both sides of the orange multi-digit multiplication practice sheet. Practice IXL skills D14, D16, D17, D19. -Creative Writing: Log in to Google Drive and continue typing the final draft of your New Year Essay. Don't print it yet - we'll do that in class. -Second quarter report cards went home with students today. -Ski and Snowboard Program will meet at school at 7:45 on Tuesday. Parents please be at school for pick-up at 5:00 p.m. (In the very unfortunate event of a 2 hour delay, Ski Program will be postponed to a later date, and we'll have a regular school day starting at 10:15.) -Non-skiers: Bring a swimsuit, towel, $2, and a Town Waiver form. Report to Mr. Jones' class at 8:15 a.m.

-Creative Writing: Finish up the rough draft of your New Year Essay. Proofread, revise, and edit it. Bring it in to school on Monday, and we'll type the final drafts on the Chromebooks. -Math: Finish the green lattice multiplication practice page if you didn't complete it in class today. Also, teach your mom or dad how to do 2 digit x 2 digit multiplication using the lattice algorithm. -Second quarter report cards will go home with students on Monday.

For Thursday:

-Math: Finish rows E and F on the 2 digit x 2 digit multiplication practice page. -Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz. The list is now up at Spelling City.

For Tuesday:

-Math: Study Links 5-5 -Carrie's after school Tuesday/ Thursday tutoring group will begin next week, on Tuesday, January 13. They are not meeting this week.
