Remote Learning Day 1/6/23 and Ski Program

  Dear 4th Grade Families, -You probably already know that our school calendar has changed slightly, and students will now be returning to school on Monday, January 9.    -Friday, January 6 is now a remote learning day. I'll be assigning a few hours on-line work for students to do using their accounts at IXL Math, and Lexia Core 5 Reading, and other sources. That morning, students can check here on our class blog for those assignments if possible.  -Our TCS Ski and Snowboard will begin on Tuesday, January 10. On those Tuesdays, students should be at school, ready to load the bus at  7:30 a.m . TSV provides their ski or snowboard gear, including a helmet. Kids need their own jacket, snowpants, goggles, and mittens or ski gloves. They'll need to bring their own lunch and snacks, or a credit card to buy food at the TSV cafeteria, which does not accept cash.  Please pick students up at   5:00 pm  at school on those 5 Tuesdays. Practice writing each word on the list 3 times. Be sure to spell it correctly each time! 2. Look up the definition of each word in a dictionary or at Vocabulary A-Z. Read the definitions you find there.  3. Use each word in a creative example sentence that shows you know what the word means. The sentences can be funny or fictional. Please make them interesting to read! 4. Keep your written work as neat and organized as possible.
