Spelling and Vocabulary 11/9/20

For each word on the list, your weekly written assignment is to do the following: (For now, you can do all this with pencil and paper in your Spelling and Vocabulary Journal. Keep your written work as neat and organized as possible.) 1. Practice writing each word on the list 5 times. Be sure to spell it correctly each time! For the weekly saying, just practice writing it twice. 2. Look up the definition of each word in a dictionary or at Spelling City. Copy the definition you find there.   -Math➕➖⨉➗ : Spend 20 minutes working on starred skills in Section D of IXL Math. -Reading๐Ÿ“š : Spend 20 minutes working on your level of Lexia Core 5 reading. -Science ๐Ÿ’“: Watch these 2 short YouTube videos about heart health , diet, and exercise . -History/ Current Events: Finish watching Nightly News for Kids , and keep track of the election results HERE. -Today's Digital Lunch ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ— with Coach is at 11:30. Invited today are Zaria, Avran, James, Luciano, Sophie, Colin, Quin, and Clover. -I'm available to help, or answer questions today on Google Hangouts. Spend 15 minutes on the games and activities at Spelling City to practice the words and definitions. Take a practice quiz to get ready for our Friday quiz.   - Science  ๐Ÿ’“:Complete the anatomy coloring page 15 in your science packet, "Pulmonary Circulation."  - Friday's Class Meeting  will start at 8:30 a.m. See you then ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. 

For Wednesday:

Use your slate or scrap paper to solve the problems using the standard algorithm, also called "Old-School Multiplication." - Spelling and Vocabulary :  Finish up the weekly written work, which is due Thursday.  - History : What's the latest news about the Presidential election ๐Ÿคท‍♀️? Have any states turned blue or red on the map? Who won in New Mexico๐Ÿคท? Which candidate is winning the Electoral College?
