You'll need a calculator to solve some of the problems on this page. -Career Project: Work on filling in a list of 6 careers that you'd be interested in learning more about (Step #1 on the blue project sheet). Deliver the green parent note to mom or dad. -Field Trip!: Our 4th grade spring field trip is coming up on Friday, May 2. We'll be taking the bus to Bandelier National Monument near Los Alamos for an all-day visit that will include 2 great hikes to explore beautiful canyons and Ancestral Pueblo ruins. I'll be sending home more information/ permission slips soon.

-Math: Study links 9-9 (p. 211) -A new TCS parent survey form went home with students today. Parents, please take some time to fill those out this week, and return them to school with your son or daughter by this Friday, April 25.

-Noah's Ark Pre-School Zumba-thon Fundraiser: This Saturday, April 5th, Noah's Ark is having a FUNdraiser at the Llano Quemado Community Center. They'll start with a bake sale/ Frito pie sale from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, and then the Zumbathon is from 2 - 4. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from Noah's Ark Staff and Families. $10 for adults, $5 for kids. Fun for all ages! No Zumba experience needed to enjoy the workout. Call 758-7444 for more info. -Flower bulb orders are due back on Monday, April 21. Please bring those into school if you sold any. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of TCS effort to purchase new books for our library.
