For Friday:

-Science: Complete the outline of your science report, and continue to read and take notes on your subject. -Spelling: Study for the quiz.

For Thursday:

-Math: Study Links 7-2 (p. 147) -Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz using games and activities at Spelling City. -Science: Finish gathering information, reading, and taking notes on your science report topic.

For Tuesday and Wednesday:

-Math: Study Links 7-1 (p. 145), and deliver the Unit 7 Parent Letter. -Science: Read and take notes on your science report topic. -Tuesday is our 5th and final day of the Ski Program. Skier and boarders should be at school ready to go at 7:45 a.m. Remember to bring your own lunch, or money to buy lunch at the TSV cafeteria. The bus will return to TCS at 5:00 p.m. Please be prompt. -Non-skiers will be swimming at the TYFC from 10:30-11:30 a.m., so bring a swimsuit, towel, and $2 for entry to the pool. They will also be going to Mitchell Theater to see a movie in the afternoon. The PTA has already paid for students' admission to the theater, but kids can bring some money to buy a snack if they want ($4.50 for the student snack pack). Thank you to our TCS Parent-Teacher Association, and Mrs. Sally Greywolf for including 4th grade non-skiers in this fun trip!

-Science: Continue finding information, reading, and doing research on your science report topic. You'll need at least 4 sources (2 books, and 2 reliable websites).

For Friday:

-Math: Study Links 6-10 (p. 139), and practice IXL skills I1, I2, I3, I4, E4, E5, E6, E7, P11, P12, P13, and P14 to get ready for the Unit 6 Test on Friday. -Spelling: Study for the quiz using your Spelling City account. -Science: Continue working through steps 3, 4, and 5 on the Science Report topic-finding process (back side of the spelling list). Friday is the day to get your specific science report topic approved.

For Wednesday:

-Math: Study Links 6-8 (p. 135), and use the angle-measuring practice site in the links. Also this week, continue practicing IXL skills I1, I2, I3, I4, as well as E4, E5, E6, E7, P11, P12, P13, and P14. -Science: Pick a general field of science that you're interested in learning more about (see Step #1 on the back of this week's spelling list).

-Math: Study Links 6-7 (p. 133), and finish the last page of the angle measuring practice packet. Use the Practice Measuring Angles and More Practice Measuring Angles websites in the links. -Reminders: There's no school on Friday, February 14 for a staff in-service day, and Monday is the Presidents' Day Holiday. This coming Tuesday, February 18 is a regular school day (no Ski Program that day). Our final Ski Program day at TSV will be the following Tuesday, February 25.

-Math: Study Links 6-6 (p. 131), and practice IXL skills P11, P13, P14. -Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the quiz. -Valentines Day!: Student can bring in cards to exchange on Thursday if they want.

For Tuesday and Wednesday:

-Math: Study Links 6-5 (p. 129), and practice IXL skills E4, E5, E6, E7, and P12. -Ski Club participants should be at school ready to go at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Remember to bring your own lunch, or money to buy lunch at the TSV cafeteria. -Math: Finish long division practice sheet C. Work on IXL skills E4, E5, E6, E7. -Spelling: Written work is due. Study for the practice quiz.

Two Hour Delay :(

-The District called for a 2 hour delay today due to the weather. Unfortunately, that means that all plans for Ski Club and non-skiers will be postponed until a later date. A normal school-day will begin at 10:15.

For Tuesday and Wednesday:

-Math: Study Links 6-3 (p. 125), and practice long division at IXL (Skills E.4 and E.5) -Ski Club participants should be at school ready to go at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday. Remember to bring your own lunch, or money to buy lunch at the TSV cafeteria. The bus will return to TCS at 5:00 p.m. Please be prompt. Be sure to wear (or bring) your warmest gear. It should be extra cold and snowy this week up at TSV. -Non-skiers will be swimming at the TYFC from 10:30-11:30 a.m., so bring a swimsuit, towel, and $2 for entry to the pool.
