Early Dismissal Monday 1:00
-The District has called an early dismissal today for all Taos Schools due to the approaching winter storm. Please pick up students at 1:00, and help us spread the word to notify other parents if you can.
Hello! Welcome to our class blog. I've been the 4th grade teacher at TCS since 2001, and I'm very proud to be a part of this school. I wouldn't want to teach anywhere else. I grew up in Jamestown, New York (about an hour south of Buffalo). I graduated from the University of Colorado
with a BA
in
English
Literature, received an MA in
Anthropology
from the
University of New York at
Albany, and earned my teaching
endorsement
from Fort Lewis College in
Durango.
Before
moving to
Taos, I taught 4th and 5th
grade for four years
on the
Navajo
Nation in Shiprock, NM. Prior
to teaching, I
worked for
several
years as a ski patroller and
snowmaker in
Colorado at
Eldora and
Telluride. My wife Hillary
is a teacher
at Taos
Middle School.
We have one very large dog
named
Alejandro. We
love to hike,
bike, camp, ski, and travel.
